How to install the UCCC Root Certificate Authority certificate on a Windows device

    Using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome on Microsoft Windows

    1. Download the UCCC Root Certificate Authority certificate.
    2. "Open" the certificate file (uccc_guest-root_authority.crt).
    3. A "Certificate" dialog will open. Click on "Install Certificate ...".
    4. When you get to the "Certificate Store" dialog, select the "Place all certificates in the following store" choice, and click on Browse.
    5. Next select the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" choice and click on "OK".
    6. Finally, click on "Next" followed by "Finish".

    Using Firefox on Microsoft Windows

    1. Download the UCCC Root Certificate Authority certificate.
    2. When the "Downloading Certificate" dialog appears, select the "Trust this CA to identify websites" choice.

    Using Opera on Microsoft Windows

    1. Download the UCCC Root Certificate Authority certificate.
    2. Within Opera, from the Tools menu, go to Preferences -> Advanced -> Security and click Manage Certificates
    3. Select the Authorities tab, click Import, and select the uccc_guest-root_authority.crt file.
    4. Click Install and click OK when asked if you are sure you want to trust the certificate.

    If you wish to remove this certificate from your system after it is installed, use the following procedure:

    1. From a command prompt, or from Start/Run, run the command "certmgr.msc".
    2. Open the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" tree in the panel on the left, and then click on "Certificates".
    3. In the panel on the right, right click on the certificate that you wish to remove and select "Delete".
