Adult Opportunities

Life is a journey of many, many steps. And while each of us are at a unique place in our journey, there are needs that we can expect to share along the way.

Here at Union Center Christian Church, we value you, no matter where you are on your journey. If you would like some help understanding where you might be on your journey with God, please contact us.

We want to help you know and follow Jesus in this season of your journey. Here is a list of opportunities currently available:

    Short-term experiences

We offer other experiences to help you follow Christ personally and with others. Click here for the experiences we are currently providing.

    College Students/Young Adults

Transit’s vision is to support college age students and young adults by helping them connect with peers, build community, grow spiritually, and serve others.

For more information, please contact us.

    Men’s Group

The Men’s Ministry at Union Center is about camaraderie, affirmation, personal development and spiritual growth.

    According to churchformen.com:

    • A significant number of churchgoing men attend out of habit, unaffected by what they hear.
    • Quite a few men go to church simply to keep their wives/mothers/girlfriends happy.
    • The majority of men who attend church do nothing during the week to grow their faith.

We want to meet each one of you where you are at. Join us every Monday night at 6:30PM, as we challenge each other with where the Bible relates to our daily lives, as we connect over quarterly meals, and as we regularly engage our bodies to serve others in our community.

For more information please contact us.

    55 Alive

Our 55 Alive group is open to everyone 55 (ish) and older. We plan monthly events that provide a place for us to enjoy social activities while we enjoy one another's company. We also develop a connected community of people who care for and look after one another. You don't need to "join" the group, just show up to an event that sounds interesting and come meet new friends.

All of our events are advertised on this website or in the church bulletin.

Please contact Mary Beth Vasicko at (607)-692-7856 if you have any general questions about the group.

    Prayer

Would you like to connect with others while praying for our church? Come to the Prayer Room in Main Street any Sunday morning, or contact us.
