Director of Family Ministries

The Director of Family Ministries is a shepherding and oversight role that will work closely with the leadership community at UCCC, but will directly report to the Senior Pastor. This person will partner with the lead pastor, elders, deacons, council, and the other staff to oversee the spiritual formation pathway for families and individuals from birth to college-age.


UCkids (Birth - 5th)

  • Foster an environment in which families, children, and volunteers are being formed to engage with God,  journey together, and spread hope. 
  • Build relationships with families, providing shepherding and soul care
  • Equip, train, and shepherd volunteers to thrive in the roles that need to be filled each week
  • Ensure curriculum materials are provided and align with church vision.
  • Provide opportunities for connection for families and volunteers
  • While UCkids is open, provide classroom oversight and emergency response

UC Teens (6th-12th Grades)

  • Foster an environment in which families, students, and volunteers are being formed to engage with God,  journey together, and spread hope. 
  • Equip, train, and shepherd volunteers to oversee the student ministry of UCCC. 
  • Build relationships with families, providing shepherding and soul care
  • Ensure curriculum materials align with church vision.
  • Provide opportunities for connection for families and leaders

UC College Connect

  • Collaborate with the Spiritual Formation Director to foster an environment in which college-age adults and volunteers are being formed to engage with God,  journey together, and spread hope. 
  • Equip, train, and shepherd volunteers to oversee the college-age ministry of UCCC. 
  • Build relationships with students, both on and off campus, providing shepherding and soul care.

Teaching Team

  • Weekly preaching collective alongside others on teaching team. 
  • Regularly a part of the preaching schedule (4-6 times per year)

Learning and Development

  • Monthly hermit day
  • Reading and other forms of learning (conferences, training, etc.)
  • Weekly staff and soul care meetings (including reading)

Housekeeping Coordinator

Description 

  • The Housekeeping position is a physical and hands-on role that could also require management of volunteers. 
  • This person should have a general working knowledge of housekeeping responsibilities.
  • This person needs to be a self-starter who can take ownership of responsibilities through completion.
  • This person should have an eye for detail and cleanliness.
  • This person will work hourly up to 10 hours per week and will report to the Director of Operations. 


Housekeeping Responsibilities

  • Oversee the cleaning of the church building. 
  • Create plan for keeping the inside of the church clean.
  • Execute cleaning plan personally (and/or) coordinate volunteers to handle cleaning activities including, but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning, dusting, stain removal, bathroom cleaning, and trash removal. 
  • In collaboration with the Facilities Coordinator, coordinate bi-yearly church work days. 

  

Set Up

  • Coordinate with other staff members to ensure that ministry rooms are cleaned for weekly and special events.
